GE Tradeshow

GE Healthcare is an annual anchor-booth at RSNA Chicago.

As their biggest event of the year, RSNA draws a global audience of nearly 38,000 attendees and is GE Healthcare’s largest annual event. Their impressive booth property spanned the area of a full football field. The booth included millions of dollars in radiological, ultrasound, and X-Ray machinery. It also included one of the largest LED panels ever created for a tradeshow.

Based on the size, complexity and value of the booth, GE needed an experienced tradeshow transportation company to coordinate all aspects of this week-long delivery schedule.

The project included more than 40 truckloads of exhibit properties, healthcare equipment, audio visual equipment and lighting - all of which needed to be delivered in specific order to McCormick Place.  

Champion’s trade show department, dispatchers, experienced drivers and show site representatives worked collectively to ensure the set up and dismantle of the show stayed on schedule and was successful. 

Champion Duties at RSNA:

• Coordinate the movement and consolidation of all equipment coming in from different GE locations throughout the country.
• Champion coordinated the multiple truck loads from GE’s exhibit builder as well.
• Champion had to load-out and store the advanced trailers as well as the trailers going direct to show. 
• Champion was involved in the planning calls leading up to the event so we could answer questions from different divisions. 
• Champion’s onsite representation worked with GC to ensure seamless inbound and outbound freight movement.
